My nephew Robbie, is having surgery today to determine the cause and to repair a problem with his kidney. I hope the little guy does ok, and that his parents are able to deal with all the stress. He is a tough little guy, for a 5 year old, and I’m sure he’ll be able to handle it. He did deal with a broken leg with a lot of moxie, not all that long ago. I just hope that anyone who reads this (Hello, does anyone read this?) will cast some well wishes his way in your thoughts.

Update on the writing front.

Jedi BattleWell I’ve been doing my due diligence and research on my story that I am writing. I have also been visualizing the story, rolling it around in my head so to speak. I have a good idea of what the story is about now and where it is going. I also have a better grasp on my main character, though he does not yet have a name. I think that I will be starting the story sooner in the timeline that I thought.Vader Commands I need this to set up some important plot points. Originally I had planned on the main characters Padawan Kaylee being just referred to in the story, but now I want to introduce her, to show the relationship between her and the main character, as that is actually the main driving force behind the story. It will help I think. So I have 1800 words that I will try to work into the story as I edit but, essentially I’ll be starting over, and hopefully I’ll be able to add what I had already written. We’ll see.
