Ok I watched the new Sci Fi Channel show last night, Who Wants to be a Super Hero, with Stan “The Man” Lee. I have to say it is hilarious. I normally can’t stand “reality TV” but, being an avid comic book fan, I found this show and it’s wacky bunch of super heroes to be laugh out loud funny. In last nights show, the “super heroes” had to cross a back yard and let an old lady into her house. The problem, they had to get by two HUGE attack dogs to do it. Watching these guys get mauled by these dogs while just trying to touch the door, it was amazing. You figure that the huge guy, Iron Enforcer, would just carry the dogs all the way and touch the door. Nope he stops within reach of the door. monkey Girl, who is this tiny waif of a girl, fights with these dogs for ten minutes and actually makes it to the door. Amazing. I found the best part was the end. Iron Enforcer was bounced off the show, mainly because he didn’t fit the mold of a super hero and no one really liked him. Well Stan “The Man” Lee appears to him while he is walking away and tells him he wants him to be his super villain. Right there I was hooked. I’ll watch every week, the show was that funny.
