Well the week didn’t start off well. I got a phone call from my daughters day care about an hour after I dropped her off. She was running a fever so I had to go and get her. I worked for about an hour and then poof off to get teh sick girl and take her home. She was miserable all day, but thankfully she is getting better now.
On Tuesday I got to go out with my wife last night on our dinner “date”. The first place we went to had actually stopped serving dinner and is just now catering parties. So we ended up driving around Providence trying to decide where to eat. We ended up at The Mills Tavern, very nice place. I had an awesome time with her, dinner was great, the company was better. Overall, I hope we can do more of it in the future.
In retrospect, I would have used the Valet Parking, but we didn’t we parked on the street. When we got to the car after dinner, someone had smashed her passenger side window and rifled through the car and the glove box. They stole her iPod mini and her FM broadcaster for it. Luckily, there wasn’t anything else of major value and they didn’t take the car. So that put a very bad end on what was otherwise a great evening. I now have a ton of stuff to take care of…..so still more delays on the News from the Verse.
Sorry to hear about the ipod…and the window. I do know some people though that might be able to “take care” of whom ever is responsible for this act…heh j/k
